Today, Contango MicroCap Limited (CTN) announced important changes with respect to its investment management arrangement arrangements.

CTN has consented to the assignment of the Investment Management Agreement from Contango Funds Management Limited (a subsidiary of Contango Asset Management Limited) to NAOS Asset Management Limited.

NAOS is a specialist fund manager that currently manages two other listed investment companies, NAOS Emerging Opportunities Company (ASX:NCC) and NAOS Absolute Opportunities Company (ASX:NAC). NAOS, led by its CIO Sebastian Evans, has proven itself to be a consistently strong performing fund manager with a high conviction, long term, value driven approach to investing.

Although the change of investment management takes effect from today, CTN shareholders will have the opportunity to approve the revised terms of the new Investment Management Agreement between CTN and NAOS at the upcoming Annual General Meeting on 28 November 2017.

A detailed summary of the material terms of the new investment management agreement will be provided to shareholders in the notice of meeting for the AGM, due to be lodged on 27 October 2017.

Shareholders of CTN are strongly encouraged to read the announcements lodged today with the ASX from both Contango Asset Management and Contango MicroCap Limited, and carefully review the material provided in the notice of meeting on receipt.

With immediate effect, all future shareholder engagement and enquiries will be managed and communicated by NAOS Asset Management. No further communications will be sent by Contango Asset Management.
